The report from here...

Cold. Icy. Cold. Windy. Cold. Frost everywhere. Cold.

Very thankful for brightly colored wool socks, thick wooly mittens, warm wooly scarves and hats, and warm wooly sweaters that help make it all tolerable, 'cause....it's COLD! So COLD!

About Me

Amy: Northeast Wisconsin, United States; I began knitting, crocheting, and spinning a few years ago. Today I maintain a friendly flock of historic, purebred registered Shetland sheep. I strive to maintain diversity of fleece and color, as well as visibly correct conformation and bright expression as documented in the breed standard. The yarns I design are sold locally, and typically become treasured garments. Fiber quality is very important to us for Shetlands are a garment breed. We produce fiber that is easy to spin/knit and yarns that are soft, beautiful and durable, just as what was produced on the Shetland Isles in times past. I love attending classes on anything fiber or sheep related, and have shown our sheep in the past, winning the coveted Midwest Shetland Sheepbreeders Grand Champion Ram Award in 2009. Over the years, I've taught adults how to spin and knit, plus I am also a leader in our local 4-H club, teaching kids how to show poultry, dairy goats, fiber, and how to knit or spin. All of this experience helps me keep our Shetland sheep true to breed, hence bringing you fine quality animals, fiber, and those famous Shetland textiles!
